I know I shouldn't have, and I know there are children starving in africa (god forgive me), but I bought these headphones in case the ones that come with it aren't any cop. (those little things on a string fall out of your ear too much).  |

I'm reading up on the thing now, and it looks like it might be a bit complicated. Lots of talk about compatible software and shit. Drag and dropping files. I did that a bit when I was on that computer course, but I never really got the hang of keeping two windows at a time open on my desktop. I know that's fairly remedial stuff, and I should be able to do it, but I so rarely have the need to do it and I've forgotten.  I want to talk about my cig smoking because it can't get on anybody's nerves here. And if it does GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY SITE! I was due a fag at 8pm, but I waited til gone twenty past til I smoked it. That's good going. I'm reading a decent Agatha Christie, and it does help being engrossed in a book. Next fag due: 10.20pm. |

I also like the look of this. I probably have no cause to use it, but it's dead sexy buying computer hardware! even if I don't know what to do with it.  It's only £7. Maybe when I next get a couple of quid from my dad, I'll splurge. |

In 10 minutes time I can legally have another fag...
Today I cleaned the bathroom. I can't get used to the fact that whenever I enter the room now, it smells good.
Tomorrow I shall make lasagne for my mum.
Tomorrow - the headphones should arrive. The actual MP3 player is slated to arrive on Thursday - I can't wait, but I'm really nervous as to whether I can use the damn thing. Wish me luck...
